Skin Types Differ
Avoid scanning anatomical regions like genitalia, eyes, nails, etc. The assessment is not made by a doctor and does not replace a medical examination. It is a risk assessment based solely on artificial intelligence and is not a diagnosis. Consequently, there is a possibility that due to various circumstances, the risk assessment of the skin change might not be correct.
Our AI as currently trained can assess only the skin types Fitzpatrick I to IV. Please read the instructions for use.
AI is still a machine
Our artificial intelligence is constantly being improved. But no matter how great a product can be, there is still a possibility for error. The best is to seek a doctor’s second opinion if you have any doubts. Artificial intelligence cannot replace human judgment, therefore a diagnosis and treatment can only be assigned by doctors.
Promote awareness
Carefully monitoring ourselves and our loved ones, applying sunscreen, visiting the dermatologist regularly and educating others about these tools will help to detect skin cancer more often, which will increase the chances of a cure.

The SkinScreener app does not provide a medical diagnosis nor does it replace a dermatological consultation.
Our proven clinical algorithm can only detect visual anomalies and assess risk based on self-taken photos.
If the risk assessment result is high, immediate action is required and the user must see a dermatologist as soon as possible.
If the risk assessment is medium, we strongly advise seeking a second opinion from a dermatologist.
If the risk assessment is low, we recommend continuing to monitor the skin lesion for further possible noticeable changes. In case of doubts please see a medical doctor.
